Kate is a Speech Pathologist with over 10 years experience. This experience has predominantly been gained whilst working in the public health setting in rural South Australia - most of these in the Riverland.
Kate is a mother of 3 young children - so completely understands how busy and challenging life can be!
Kate has a strong professional interest, passion and experience in providing support to children and their families who have difficulties with feeding, whether that be from birth, transitioning to solids or complex feeding concerns as a result of a diagnosed medical condition.
Kate has completed her Certificate IV in Breastfeeding Education. She is a qualified Breastfeeding Counsellor with the Australian Breastfeeding Association.
Kate enjoys working with children with speech sound difficulties and literacy-based concerns, often arising as children commence their education journey. She gains satisfaction from seeing children thrive within their home and school environments.
Kate places value on working closely with families and meeting them where they are in their child's journey. She also values collaborating with other professionals working with a child and their family.
